- DESIGNED FOR 2x4 & 2x6 LUMBER — Inner channel fits the standard 1-1/2" actual thickness of dimensional 2x lumber. Bracket size (40 x 42mm) is optimized for 2x4 and 2x6 joists and studs. Not recommended for 2x8 or deeper joists (bracket legs too short to provide adequate grip), and NOT compatible with 4x4 or larger posts. Confirm your lumber size before ordering.
- U-CLIP FOR CEILING JOISTS, BLOCKING & HURRICANE TIES — Wraps over the top of a joist or stud to anchor it to a beam, wall plate, or ledger, resisting lateral movement and uplift. Ideal for ceiling joist connections, structural blocking, and hurricane/wind tie applications. Note: this is a U-strap clip — NOT a joist hanger (which cradles the board from the side).
